The Cabarete Jazz Festival will be held Friday, 1 November to Sunday, 3 November 2024. A stellar lineup of brings jazz music back to the legendary beach of Puerto Plata.
Festival director, Nati Casado announced that this year’s event will feature renowned international artists such as Paquito D’Rivera, Arturo Sandoval, and the Argentine band Escalandrum. Local talent will be represented by Pavel Núñez, Leton Pe, and La Boba Band, led by musical director Janina Rosado.
The festival events also include workshops, after-jam sessions, live murals, and vinyl DJ sets. Casado described the event as “a magical and special weekend, with a first-rate musical offering, featuring Dominican and international artists of great talent.”
