The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers’ third and final window is happening this February 2025.

The Dominican Republic is scheduled to compete against Canada and Nicaragua in the final qualifying window for the FIBA AmeriCup 2025. The DR is competing in Group C that also gathers Canada, Nicaragua, Mexico.

As the country gears up for the event, the team’s renowned Argentine coach Néstor “Che” García and Dominican coaches David Díaz and Abraham Disla, as well as Spanish coach Sergio Jiménez, have convened top players like David Jones, L.J. Figueroa, and Joel Soriano to join the players that live in the DR. Several other prominent Dominican players based in Europe, including Andrés Féliz, Jean Montero, and Tyson Pérez, are expected to join the team after completing their commitments in the Copa del Rey.
