A Dominican jeweler who had misplaced a backpack with a laptop, cash and jewelry worth around US$100,000 in Newark International Airport in New Jersey, USA was reunited with his belongings after he lucked out when it was handed by mistake by a cab driver to an anonymous 20-year old Jewish student traveler. When the student told his mom she suggested they deliver it to Shmira, a Brooklyn public safety group that was able to return it to its rightful owner. The owner happened to be Dominican jeweler who works in the NY Diamond District.
