Dominican music is catchy and tourists regularly learn to dance the tropical beats when staying at a resort or vacationing here. In a recent video, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise gets an advance dancing class with Dominican former beauty queen and TV personality, Genesis Suero after being interviewed by the Telemundo host.

Genesis Suero is a successful television personality and property expert who helps buyers and sellers throughout New York City achieve their real estate dreams. She was one of the first Dominican immigrants to win the title of Miss New York USA in 2018.

She competed for the Dominican Republic in Miss Universe 2019 and was one of the finalists of the Univision reality, Nuestra Belleza Latina.

She has since joined Telemundo’s “En Casa Con Telemundo” as a correspondent focusing on stories and interviews in and around New York.
