Just a few hours before the new traffic rules regarding left turns at three key intersections on Lope de Vega Avenue in the heart of the National District went into effect, the National Transport and Transit Institute (Intrant) put up effective signage to assist drivers. The no left turn signs went up at the three most important intersections, Padre Fantino Falco, Gustavo Mejia Ricart and Max Henriquez Ureña.

At the same time, signs were put up to assist drivers find alternative routes to these important streets.

On the streets, there were agents from the National Traffic Safety Agency (Digesett), the entity that oversees the enforcement of the traffic laws. The plan is that the agents educate the drivers who may be confused about the new routes to be taken.
