Germany clinched its spot in the Volleyball Nations League Finals with its win over the Dominican Republic national women’s seior team (Reinas del Caribe) in Arlington, Texas, USA on Sunday, 13 July 2025. The game ended 3-1. With its losses to China (in five sets) and Germany, the DR was eliminated from moving to the finals. The game against Germany was 25-20, 25-13, 21-25, 25-21. The DR ended in 12th place.

The top finals teams for the VNL finals are now: Italy, Brazil, Japan, Poland, China, Turkey, Germany and USA. The DR finished the round in 12th place.
