Although courts has asked that the media not use “nicknames” for the many different cases of corruption and graft currently winding their way through the courts, the latest case of bribery and corruption was baptized with the name of Operation Lobo. It involves millions of pesos that passed between military and civilian personnel.

As reported, the money was used to secure contracts for security companies that protected different government entities. For example, the three EDEs—Ede Norte, Ede Este, ad Ede Sur, as well as the offices of the National Health Service (SeNaSa) and the National Early Childhood Institute (Inaipi).
