Tropical waves will be impacting the Dominican Republic, bringing rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, 15 and 16 July 2025. The Weather Institute (Indomet) forecast is that the DR is in for more summer heat, Saharan dust and rain throughout the week.

Indomet explains that a combination of an upper-level trough, the persistent drag of winds, and a series of approaching tropical waves will bring varied weather conditions, from morning showers to afternoon thunderstorms.
