The largest get-together of civilian aircraft fans happens each year in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA. Known formally as the EAA AirVenture 2025, the show draws private flyers from around the world. People come to see unique and innovative aircraft and learn about where to travel to. This year, officials say more than 691,000 visitors from 80 different countries participated in the 21-27 July 2025 celebration of aviation.

The Dominican Airport Department and the Ministry of Tourism set up their booth at the show to promote arrivals to Dominican airports.

The participation seeks to promote fly-ins by private airplanes, as they are known, recognized as an important potential contributor to high-value tourism.
