The Presidency issued Decree 461-25 on Sunday, 17 August 2025 with numerous key appointments in government. These are:

Leonardo Aguilera Batista has been appointed the new executive president of Banreservas, the government commercial bank. Since 2020, Aguilera had been the president of the board of Refidomsa. An economic advisor and political consultant with more than three decades of experience, he is the founding president of the Cibao Economic Center (CEC), one of the most reputable polling companies in the Dominican Republic. Aguilera has consulted in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Haiti, and El Salvador, and is the author of several books on economics and politics.
