More than 6,000 new businesses have been created in the Dominican Republic so far this year through the country’s One-Stop Window for Business Formalization, according to the Dominican Federation of Chambers of Commerce (Fedocámaras).

The organization reported that 6,050 companies were registered between January and August 2025. During the same period, 19 of the country’s 32 chambers of commerce have begun offering online services, a key milestone in the ongoing digital transformation of business registration.

Manuel Aníbal García Núñez, president of Fedocámaras and head of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Hermanas Mirabal, said these developments are part of a broader strategy to digitize, standardize, and improve the quality of the commercial registry system.
