Take note that soon Playa Linda will be a place to visit. The Ministry of Tourism announced a RD$37 million makeover of the beach area in Nizao, in southcentral Peravia province. The Abinader administration and local investors have been investing in developments on the coastal areas west of the capital city in the provinces of Peravia, Azua, Barahona and Pedernales.

The upgrade includes a boulevard for tourists, as well as new parking areas and a boardwalk.

There will be tables, umbrellas and deck chairs available for visitors. The area has mangroves, almond trees and many other tropical species.

Tourism Minister Collado noted that the improvements will boost the local economy.
