With his home run on 7 September 2025, Juan Soto needs just to hit two more home runs to reach the 40 home run mark for a second consecutive season. In the 2024/25 season he hit 41 home runs. His 41 home runs tied him for fourth in MLB.
A feature in MLB News says that Soto is on pace for 42 home runs, which would set a career high for the Dominican slugger.
