On Tuesday, 9 September, Juan Soto of the New York Mets became the first player to reach the 30 home run and 30 bases stolen mark in the 2025 Major League Baseball season. He did the steal against catcher JT Realmuto of the Philadelphia Phillies. Soto’s record is now 38-30.

He became the fifth Met in the 30-30 club, joining Darryl Strawberry, Howard Johnson (three times), David Wright and Francisco Lindor as the only Mets to produce a season of at least 30 homers and 30 stolen bases.
