“A Taste of Hope 2025” is the fifth fundraiser for UNICEF in the Dominican Republic.

The charitable dinner is scheduled for 16 and 17 September 2025 at the Hotel Embajador in Santo Domingo. This 2025, the event will be led by renowned chefs Carmen Angel, founder of Carmen Restaurante in Medellin, Colombia, and Saverio Stassi, executive chef of Ajualä in the Dominican Republic.

The funds raised will go directly to UNICEF’s programs in the Dominican Republic. These programs focus on critical issues like treating acute childhood malnutrition, reducing maternal and newborn mortality, improving education, protecting children from violence, and preventing child marriage and teen pregnancy.
