The Senate approved a bill that authorized the government to make additional sovereign debt placements. The bill, identified as 90-24, authorizes the increasing of public debt from RD$350 billion to RD$361 billion.
The amendment, proposed by the Executive Branch, adds RD$10.6 billion to the country’s public debt.
