Management wants the contracts for foreign workers to be handled by the Ministry of Labor rather than the Presidency itself. A group of 49 associations and 53 companies that belong to the National Council of Business (Conep), joined forced in the presentation of this letter that was sent to the Senate last week.
Juan Celso Marranzini, the head of the Conep, together with Laura Izquierdo, the head of the Dominican Republic Management Confederation (Copardom), have said the president of the Senate expects their letter to speed things up a bit.
