The Dominican Republic has taken the helm of the Association of Latin American Telecommunications Regulators (Regulatel) for a second time, signaling a major institutional milestone and solidifying the country’s leadership role in the region’s telecommunications agenda.

Regulatel comprises telecommunications regulatory authorities from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe, bringing together countries like Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Its mission is to articulate common positions and harmonize public policies in telecommunications and digital transformation.
