Mayor Ulises Rodríguez has officially set the stage for the Santiago Carnival 2026, promising a month-long celebration that blends deep-rooted tradition with modern structural innovations. The festivities will take place every Sunday throughout February, culminating in a grand finale parade on 1 March 2026.

The Mayor says this edition is designed not just as a party, but as a strategic engine for the North region’s economy and cultural identity.

The municipal government has introduced a comprehensive masterplan aimed at elevating the event’s profile on both a national and international scale. A key highlight of this year’s organization is the strategic partnership with Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, which will provide logistical support and help expand the reach of activities centered at Parque Central.
