In a strategic move to cement the Dominican Republic’s positioning as a top-tier destination for Mexican travelers, Tourism Minister David Collado hosted a “Meet in Paradise” roadshow in Mexico City.

The event, held at the Centro Banamex, drew over 1,600 industry professionals, including travel agents, tour operators, and media representatives from across Mexico. The massive turnout underscores the growing synergy between the two tourism destinations.

During the presentation, Minister Collado highlighted the significant growth of Mexican arrivals to the Dominican Republic. In 2025, 163,579 Mexicans visited the island, marking a 39.3% increase compared to 2024.
