The Banreservas Cultural Center has officially announced its Fifth Theater Season, a month-long celebration of Dominican performing arts dedicated this year to the illustrious actor, director, and playwright Giovanny Cruz. Running from 7 to 29 March 2026, the festival will feature eight diverse productions across three venues in the cities of Santo Domingo and Santiago.

The season, conceived by artistic director Guillermo Cordero, aims to strengthen the national theater circuit by providing a platform for independent companies and fostering new audiences. This year’s selection spans contemporary drama, historical narratives, psychological monologues, and family-oriented performances.
