In a coordinated interdiction effort at Punta Cana International Airport in La Altagracia province, agents from the National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) and the Specialized Airport and Civil Aviation Security Corps (CESAC) seized 150 packages of cocaine weighing 153.75 kilograms.

The operation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Ministry, targeted a shipment arriving from Medellín, Colombia. During routine inspections in the arrivals area, DNCD agents, backed by military personnel and canine units, identified suspicious images via X-ray machines within four specific pieces of luggage.

Upon physical inspection following established legal protocols, authorities discovered the illicit substance wrapped in plastic bags and adhesive tape.
