In a move designed to bolster international cooperation against organized crime, Vice Admiral Jose M. Cabrera Ulloa, president of the National Drug Control Agency (DNCD), traveled to Florida for an official visit to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Miami Division headquarters. The meeting, held on 5 May 2026, served as part of an ongoing initiative to strengthen the security partnership between the Dominican Republic and the United States.
Cabrera Ulloa met with: • Miles D. Aley, Special Agent in Charge of the Miami Field Division.• Michael C. Mayer, Special Agent in Charge of the Caribbean Division.• Frank A. Torentino and Gregory M. Millard, Associate Chiefs of Operations for the Northeast and Southeast Regions.• Richard J. Cernuda, Director of the DEA Santo Domingo Office.
