The National Health Service (SNS) has presented a robust medical assistance strategy for the 25th Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, scheduled to run from 24 July to 8 August 2026. The plan guarantees 100% free, high-quality medical coverage for all participating athletes, delegations, and visitors across the various host venues.

SNS director Julio César Landrón detailed the initiative during the International Congress of Sports Medicine, held at the Dominican Sports Hall of Fame on 4 May 2026. Dr. Landrón emphasized that since the Dominican Republic was designated as the host, the institution has undergone a sustained expansion of its operational capacity to meet international standards.
