The Reinas del Caribe won their first games against Costa Rica and Cuba (3-0) and Puerto Rico (3-1) in the opening phase of the Norceca Continental Championship at the Professor Ricardo Gioriber Arias Volleyball Pavilion in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.

The DR is the defending champion. The senior women’s volleyball team of the DR passes to the semi-finals. The Dominican team awaits the winner of Pool A (United States, Canada, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago). The DR was the winner of Pool B (Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Costa Rica).

The finals and medal matches will take place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Following the conclusion of the Continental Championship, the venue will host the follow-up Norceca Continental Olympic Qualifier on 28 and 29 August, where the final berth for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games will be contested.
