Marileidy Paulino was the only runner in the Silesia, Poland Diamond 400m women’s race to go under 49 seconds. She clocked in at 48.87. The 400m race win was her fourth in the Wanda Diamond League 2026 competitions. Paulino’s season best is 48.48 and her personal best is 47.98.

The runner ups in the Poland race were Nickisha Pryce of Jamaica who turned in a season best of 49.49 and Salwa Eid Naser of Bahrein who clocked in at 49.57, also a season best time. The home runner, Polish Natalia Bukowiecka came in fourth with 49.60.

Paulino has not said if she will compete in the Diamond League 400m finals in Brussels. She has explained that she has plans to compete...
