During the inaugural session of “Agenda Semanal,” the new weekly accountability platform led by President Luis Abinader, the Dominican government outlined key advancements, logistical targets, and infrastructure challenges for the 2026–2027 school year.

Minister of Education Luis Miguel de Camps García and educational officials detailed the operational readiness of the public school system, which spans roughly 8,000 educational centers, 18 regional departments, 122 districts, and has a registration of more than two million public sector students.
