The Dominican Consulate General in New York has officially inaugurated its new satellite office in the Bronx, expanding services for one of the largest Dominican diaspora communities in the United States. Located on the second floor of 305 E. Fordham Road, the facility operates as an official consular annex.

The new office provides full consular services, including passport issuance and renewals, powers of attorney, legalizations, civil documentation, community assistance, and consular protection. The local presence is expected to significantly reduce travel time and transportation costs for thousands of families residing in the northern NYC area.

What is new is that the office is the first additional Dominican consulate location in the borough to receive formal authorization from the US Department of State.
