The Dominican Ministry of Defense has doubled its budget during the Abinader administration. A report in Diario Libre highlights the Ministry has executed a major expansion of its military inventory, showcasing newly acquired Israeli- and US-sourced weaponry during ceremonies led by Defense Minister Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre at the 27 de Febrero Naval Base and the San Isidro Air Base in Santo Domingo Este.
