Canada won its first Norceca Continental Championship by defeating the United States 3-2 (25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 18-25, 15-10) in the game on 26 August 2026 at the volleyball pavilion of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in Santo Domingo. The bad news of the host country was that its Reinas del Caribe lost the bronze medal to Cuba. The DR team had defeated Cuba in its two matches in the recently passed 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games. Cuba won the bronze in the tournament.

The emerging Cuban team, coached by a Brazilian as is the Dominican team, played a convincing 3-0 game showing their emerging talents.
