No. But the Direct Flights do not start until Feb.22, as I pointed out on another thread. So the idea that vaccine mandates here have ANYTHING to do with the tons of delays with Southwest in the US here are ridiculous at best...........

Well it was due to slow downs from both pilots and air traffic controllers, some who staged sickouts in apparent protest the vaccine mandates.
But American and Spirit might also be short employees ?
The traffic controllers absence needs to be explained by the FAA.

Those over 12 years of age who have not received two doses will be allowed to enter these places as long as they present a negative PCR test for covid-19 with at least 14 days of validity.

It looks like things are starting to change already. Originally, the covid test was only valid for 7 days.

Why? Right now Southwest Airlines has NO DIRECT flights to the Dominican Republic........................

And since I have a ticket on Southwest for the 23rd to PUJ...............there in fact are DIRECT flights...........and not only from FLL

And as to the rest of the vaccination card/pcr test mandates, I will be in the ports on the 25th............and will post about that experience............either after my 10 year sentence or upon my return to the US.......and I suspect the latter.

Did you notice your passport has barcode? With barcode you need access to data swipe and brings up data. With QR you need internet connection and phone safer better no data base on your end required hence why governments switching. Laboratories here have been using QR
Codes for pcr test a while now.

But when people say they can scan their Vax card code and the info of the card holder pops up I called BS. They were just fabricating that (aka lying)
Maybe (big maybe) a govt official will have a database but otherwise it won't be done by bars and restaurants.

It won't be businesses that will enforce compliance. Businesses have been asked to comply, but any enforcement of vaccine/testing mandates will be done by government officials. I expect random spot checks.. Let's see if that pans out.
