Back in March/April how did this airport shutdown go down, did they give tourists already on the island a few days to be able to leave? Or were they just stuck here for 15-30 days?

The supermercado/pharmacies in Puerto Plata today were a total madhouse zoo around 11am with everyone trying to get their shopping done before noon. How this was more covid-safe vs having extended hours I don't know. I'm sure I got covid just shopping in the supercrowded aisles today.

When you say "as usual" does that mean with usual hours, or as usual but reduced curfew hours. Because I think a big concern is that if you need grocery or pharmacy after noon on weekends (a completely reasonable expectation), then you'll have trouble.

Do folks think that the weekend noon curfew will actually really be followed? Like the shops might be closed but I can't imagine the entire country will simply stay inside on a nice day and not decide to take a little walk outside? For folks who experienced the previous month of curfew, what do...
