Hey, remember when the owner of the Hotel Santo Domingo used to land their helicopter on the hotel grounds next to the Malecon?

The helicopters were ok most of the time. Did not take kindly when landing and take-off was at sunrise, before normal wakeup time.

Remembering the good ol days staying at the nearby Hotel Hispañola enjoying a Sunday brunch at poolside. Delighted in seeing a few weddings there. The brides were always beautiful.
