Spent the last few days in Samana and Las Terrenas. Had a great time, but the power was going in and out multiple times. I was in a conference and the presenters had to stop and start many times because of power outages. The amount of times was very unusual even for this country.

This is exactly the issue that happens on my block. When the power goes out some outlets work and some don't. One house will have power, the house next to it will not. It always the Transformer on the block.
