    I know a temporary resident can purchase property in the DR, but can they operate a business such as a Rancho for example (renting cabins, and operating a restaurant on site)?

    If I relocate to the DR on a temporary residency permit, I know that I can purchase property, but as an owner am I allowed to operate a business such as renting lodging, etc. and operate a restaurant on the site?
