What is the best way to get to Luperon or Castambar beaches from Playa Dorado. Is there a bus that goes there. I know a bus goes east but can't find anything on what goes west.

I am staying at the Flamenco beach resort. Does anyone know if I can rent a motor scooter to check out Puerto Plata or is it better just to catch a Publico or guagua? BTW - going to DR for the first time. We are very excited!
