I think you need to be more specific. What type of music do you like?
If you like merengue and bachata you have a lot of options. If you like salsa in my opinion really good salsa is from Puerto Rico, Cuba and Colombia with a broad universal popularity. You will also hear nice ballads, bolero, or tropical music in general in the DR.
