The only normal discount is if you have your residency, then there is a special price for residents with a cedula (but it might be only on General Admission). Right now, however, there is a discount at the second web address given below.

Does anyone know if there is currently a discount for residents with a cedula? There is no mention of one on the ticket-price page.
There is a special for the Day Pass (General Admission) which has been extended to the end of April, which is 3 for the price of 2 which is US$35 x 2 = US$70 or RD$2,450(the OW ticket booth uses x-change rate of 35-1) for 3 people. You will need a Dominican Cedula to get this rate.
Thanks, Conchman, but since I will be alone, that lets me out. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to my first time there. Since I don't have a car, I plan to book on day a bus is going from one of the nearby Sosua Hotels, either Sosua Bay or Casa Marina.
My concern about booking in advance in order to get the transport is what to do if it is raining the morning I want to go. Are you stuck if you booked in advance, or can you reschedule as late as the morning of your reservation?

If you book Admission only, you can rebook no problem. If you book dolphin swim or encounter, you might lose your reservation/ticket - depending on who you book with (tour operator, direct, internet?) .
