Thanks ,that's a short walk to the beach..did you ever stay there?

I've often stayed there. Under the new management it is purely trailor park. You'll need the stem cells to recover from whatever you pick up from the prostitute. You can also enjoy getting fleeced in the casino and bring your pickups back with you.

Was A Great AI

I have stayed there 5 times but not in recent years.
When we stayed there it was not guest friendly and not adults only.
What we loved about this place was:
a)Great Views from many of the restaurants.
b)Great views from the ocean view rooms. Garden view rooms are terrible.
c)The food was quite good by AI standards at the time. I have heard the food quality has gone down in recent years but that is just second hand info.
d)Location - This place has a fantastic location if you don't like being couped up in a AI. It is a 1 minute walk(or less) to Sosua Beach and a 1 minute walk to town.

I would advise giving it a try.

Looks like they are targeting a certain market, not previously seen with all inclusives.

One of the two buildings, the one that opens with the main lobby, is a normal all inclusive. The other building, closest to the beach, is being used as the Beach Club and it is entered from the street that runs from la Roca to the Beach. About half way down, you will see the sign.

As I understand it, only breakfast is included at beach club. Somebody who stayed in the club can correct me if I am wrong.

Tulum is classy

THAT'S IT..I'm off to Tulum...thanks

We had my daughter's wedding at Dreams Tulum (after our legal nightmare with Sosua Bay's current owner), and loved both the AI and the ancient site. The clientele was fun-loving but not foul mouthed. If you go, make sure to swim off the beach at the ruins. Best swimming I ever experienced--and no jet skis to worry about.

Does Armando still own it, or did it change hands?

I believe so. As I understand it, previously Starz had two owners, who did not get along. Finally, the solution was to divide the property, with the other taking the hotel in Cabarete.

Far more complicated

That's the official spin. In fact, Casciati's "business" dealings are far more complicated than that.

That may be, but he is here and I see him frequently when I go to gym on 3rd floor of casino. He was there this morning to tell the trainer he should keep the gym open Saturday morning rather than close as the trainer thought he would be able to do.

Who would guess that Casciati, known as extraordinary1 on twitter would have time to keep an eye on his gym. On Twitter, he claims to be researching stem cells and treating people for health and rejuvenation. His research degrees must come from Seoul, South Korea, where his business is connected. Then there is Texas Hold 'Em, another of his public offerings. And his diaper factory and Miami holdings.

Not one to be modest about his achievements, Casciati has two xx's in exxtraordinary1 on twitter. I can't wait to follow him and invite all dr1ers to join in on the fun.

Both the clinic and the gym are next to each other on the 3rd floor of the casino.
