as long as it is clean nearly anything will do. no shorts thou :)
in most cases the manager is simply looking for someone who can speak english, it does not matter how they look.

It does in the interview, specially if the interviewer is Dominican. Pantalon de tela(suit pants?), long sleeve shirt and shoes (not snickers), maybe a tie. If you get the job then you can get the jeans and snickers depending on the company dressing policy.

Funny but CORRECT. DV8 is dead wrong on this one. Dress to impress for your interview then follow the dress code.

I would imagine rules for the north are more relaxed than santo domingo, where there are more people going for the same job.

I guess I'm old fashioned. (or just plain old)

Come to an interview with me dressed in shorts, and it will be a very quick interview, guaranteed.

I agree! First impressions speak volumes, before one even opens their mouth.

(and I am not even that old, just like-minded:cheeky:)

When you go for a job interview, assuming you really want the job, you need to make a very strong first impression. There is a 90/90 rule which states that 90% of a first impression is made in the first 90 seconds.
