B Bob K Silver Aug 16, 2004 2,520 121 63 Aug 28, 2010 #2 No surfing in Sosua. The bay is usually very flat and not much wave action. I never seen a surf board there. Main surfing area is Encuentro beach which is about a 10 min cab ride away. Good surf there and a couple of "schools" as well. Bob K
