I rented a villa a 3-4 years back for the winter in perla marina, and me and my familly ate at the natura cabanas resturant. It was really good and the chef, cant remember her name ( female with blonde hair) made an exceptional night for us. just wondering is she still there? is it as fresh as it was then? can you go there without staying in the perla marina complex?

Yeah, that's the one. I do remember a blonde chef, but can't remember her name or anything. sorry.
The restaurant at Natura Cabanas is open to the public. No need to be a guest there or even Perla Marina. There is a new Chef who trained under a very famous (to those who follow this stuff) chef in Spain. It's not cheap, but the food and ambiance are excellent!
Our apartment is 500 feet away from Natura Cabanas. We've been going there for twelve years. I've never smelled a skunk in the DR.
Wrong place. I have been to Natura Cabana a few times, great spot and good food.
