I am the Padrino for my cousin's wedding in Santo Domingo.

While I know my role is mainly financial (las bebidas)... I still want to help plan his bachelor party.

I don't want any strippers... if we do, it'll be something like stopping in to a strip club for 30 minutes just to give him "the experience"...

Any other ideas for a bunch of guys in one night? I was thinking we'd go to a house and play domino until like 10pm... then get a limo and ride around the city... But where could we go?

I live in the US, so it's hard for me to plan, but all the rest of them live there.

Clean Bachelor party!

Where in Santo Domingo is your cousin located?

Start looking at all the major hotels (jaragua, dominican fiesta, etc), and see if they have any events. They have concerts, and jaragua will have special events in the casino.

If your into gambling, poker specifically, you can call the casino's up and setup like a 1 table tournament for your party. It should be fun

Other pg13 ideas are:
-a nice dinner at a restaurant, or nice bbq on the beach.
-take them to a piscina/villa depending on where they live you can find one near them or travel to a town/city like Bani, bonao, la vega. etc.
- Take the party to a ladies night happy hour. These are filled with younger profesional women (not prostitutes), and you can have a great time for the costs of drinks. they usually have great music for dancing, and some have karaoke. The ones i have been to are at myntz, pravda, and dominican fiesta.
- look for other events. for example i just got back and David Guetta was throwing a concert, and last time i was there dj tiesto was having a event.

Also stop by the duty free store at the airport and get some nice whiskey. I remember the look on the old guys faces one trip when we took the green label out, or the double black label. They loved it.

Cliffnotes:
nice dinner
dancing, and karaoke at a ladies night event
gambling/poker tournament
drinks & bbq at a close by beach
drinks, dancing, food, and a local piscina/villa
look for concerts and special events happening.

Villas in Juan Dolio

So where should I go to find these villas in Juan Dolio?

There's gonna be about 15 guys. And we want to be able to swim in a pool and BBQ.

Thanks for the suggestions for places to eat. I might just take him and the novia there by myself on Sunday night.

I never ran into the public piscina/villas in Juan Dolio but i have been to ones outside of Santo Domingo, in Bani. But if you want to rent a villa for a night use google. google juan dolio villas and you will get plenty of results. They will be rental properties and not what i was thinking but you might find something you like.

I was thinking more along the lines of something like Villa Cana in Bani or Villa Jesuana. Where there are pools, food, music, and plenty of people. I dont know where and if they are in the Santo Domingo Area. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
