I am considering a part time move to the the porta plata area I have a satilite dish 18" and I am wondering if i will recieve signals in that area in english I thank anybody with any response.
no it wont work with your 18 inch dish
you will need a 6 foot dish.
Than it will work.
Am american made dish will get you all the channels.
A dominican dish ( cheaper) will get you most but not all.
A friend of mine showed me his 8 Ft. dish (Dominican made) and it has 900 channels. the small dish works but does not catch all channels and it's affected by weather.
I don't know how he made it, but the guy is a genius, I was told the small dish won't work in this latitude.
