Our company recently had a falling out with a local partner in a company in which we own 50% and he owns 50%. We found that he was paying his personal expenses with company money and since then relationship has gone bad. He has gone on to open a company with a very similar name and pretty much passed all clients to this new company.
In the original company, we know he has had to forge/falsify our signatures in some occasions in order to change the legal rep of the company. The company is profitable and we have pretty good documentation of all events.
We would like to sue this local partner, which we believe we have a case for $100K - 250K approx., however since we are abroad, turn over the procedure to an attorney that may be interested in representing us for a percentage of what is recovered.
We feel we have a good case and are flexible with the amount we would like to recover, so if anyone knows an aggressive attorney or has any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
thank you
