Just wondering if anyone has had any kind of success dealing with them? We bought dining room furniture 3 years ago and have had no problems with it at all. When we needed to add a couple of additional pieces to the terrace we shopped around and then decided to go with a set of 2 chairs and small table from them.
Within 4-5 months, one of the chairs (resin) had broken weaves, I took the piece in, and the lady who manages the store said that David Hall (owner) would have to see it, and he was away. So in 3 days I went back, and was told by Mr. Hall that my maid must have used bleach or cut the furniture in some way, I explained that I am the one that looks after the furniture, so then it was still not a fault of the furniture, they had no problem with any of the other pieces they had sold etc etc. Bottom line was they glued the broken pieces. Now the arm is doing the same thing, and the other chair is following the first.
This was not an inexpensive set!! Being that we had been pleased with the original purchase and the fact that it seemed to be the right place to buy outdoor furniture and perhaps deal with an owner as opposed to the regular "not my problem" at one of the other stores, we are hugely disappointed and once again disillusioned by the attitude for customers here. My other half has known this owner for over 20 years and expected a better product and the integrity that goes along with it. Bottom line lower your expectations, and you should be all set to live in the DR. Just my humble opinion!
