Hi,

Can anyone tell me the procedure to sell a vehicle and properly transfer the title in the RD? (or point me to a sticky on the subject, I can't seem to find the information in the Forums but suppose this isn't an original question. :) )

DGTT on the corner of Teradentes north of kennedy has a posting on the wall of what is required.

I'm assuming there's no lean on the vehicle. Notarized sales contract. Sign the matricula. Get your $$$ and have a nice day. It's up to the buyer to tranfer it to his name, pay tax etc. He might not do it right away, so to protect yourself, you can go to the DGII people with a copy of the matricula and sales contract and get a release.
