Old vs. New Tourist Cards

I have one old tourist card left - the one with the identical carbonless copy. last trip in March they had these new cards, yellow cardboard with the small piece kept until you depart. Can I use my old card ( of course it is already paid for) on my upcoming trip on May 18th? I don't mind buying the cards, I hate wasting one if it is still valid for a little while yet.

Re: Old vs. New Tourist Cards *PIC*

I used the old card just 2 weeks ago. The old cards will be around for quite a while because the are distributed all over the world to various airlines that fly into the DR, to be sold to visitors.

New Tourist Card:

RE: Tourist Card??

What tourists cards are you talking about ? Does everyone need this? Are you talking about a little card hat you pay $10 (or something like that) for when you get to the airport? Please help?

Re:Tourist Card??

See www.BocaChicaBeach.net/transport.html. It explains it all. Non-residents need either a visa or a tourist card to enter the country. Yes, they sell tourist cards at the airport upon arrival, prior to passing through immigration at a cost of US$10.
