Hello,

I would like to ask you for advice, how best to get from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo. I couldn?t find some connection in Caribe tour website.

And how to get from Barahona to Parque Nacional Jarague, along the coast probably with some stops (is possible to spend the night somewhere in these places?)

Thank you very much

If you check DR1's East Coast forum, there's a "basic information" sticky thread with details of the bus services between Punta Cana and Santo Domingo - not served by Caribetours but by a smaller outfit called Expreso B?varo.

For the Jaragua National Park, Caribetours will take you as far as Barahona, but from then on it will have to be local guaguas or hire care. There are also some eco-tourism companies in the area like this one that came up on Google - ECO Tour Barahona, contact us to discover the ecotourism in the South West of the Dominican Republic

There are several inexpensive hotels in Barahona and on the road that goes towards Pedernales, as well as the country's top boutique hotel Casa Bonita. There are a couple of inexpensive hotels in Pedernales too.
