not really related to this, but when i was there i remember seeing a really pretty section of town bordering a park in santo domingo, nice houses and sammy sosas house was there. i assume this area is expensive to live in, but does anyone know the name of the city? thanks in advance

You are talking about Anacaona Avenue in the Cacicazgos sector of Santo Domingo

Does anyone know how much houses or apartments run in that area? Also, what are the nicer sections of SD to live in. I heard of "Gazcue", but what do some of you locals think?
